EPASS

EFT Direct’s Electronic Payment and System Storage (EPASS) software allows you to send and receive payments electronically via the Internet and store the proof of payment electronically (check image, card imprint, etc).

The EPASS system runs from any Internet connected personal computer and, with valid login, permits payments to be accepted for any type of receivable. EPASS will interface to your systems and receivables allowing the payee to view their account and money owed. You would be provided your own personal web site where your customer and clients can access the information and make payments.

Payment can be made by your customers using their checking account or credit card via their home PC or an authorized "Call Center" and/or "Payment Center". Payment Centers may be your offices, grocery stores, check cashing centers, etc. using an Internet connection. Call Cneters and Payment Centers are pre-certified by you and then setup in the EPASS system to allow them to login into EPASS and view the receivables of your customer.  Cash, cashier check, money order, debit card and credit card payments can be made at authorized Payment Centers directly against your customer's account.  Payments by check, debit card and credit card are validated through standard validation services.  Once validated, the check, debit card and credit card payments are sent to Automated Clearing House (ACH) electronically to withdraw the funds from the customers account.  Funds then clear within as few as only one day for larger merchants and banks with substantial number of checks.  (For larger merchants, same-day clearing can be provided). There is no need for changing your bank. Our system can inerface with your existing bank's sytem for same-day clearing. No other company in the country is offering this capability.

All payments are recorded in EPASS and passed back to your accounting systems immediately upon approved payment.  Your customer also has the option to have payments automatically deducted from their checking or credit accounts.  By simply checking on an option in the EPASS system, you will be authorized to send payment requests directly to your customer's bank or credit card service for payment.  In addition to paying invoices online, EPASS can be used for pre-payment on licenses, dues, fees, etc. for your corporation, municipality or organization.  Standard fees can be listed on your personal EPASS web site with payment accepted via the Internet.

With EPASS, you can clear payments within as few as one day, thereby providing your customers a faster turn-around of their requests for prepaid services. EPASS has an optional feature that allows the storing of the check image or credit card imprint stored online for later viewing and printing, if required for disputes. This feature allows you to print the information associated with any payment to your local PC printer.

  • Immediate processing of all payments
